Logo
Intro and story
Our new identity is a visual representation of our transformation into a health-tech company creating life-changing technologies that people love. The foundation of our new look is a series of ascending arcs inspired by alveolar diagrams that metaphorically echo our users “rising” to their fullest potential. It feels bold and optimistic, while remaining light and airy. A brighter and more modern color palette of electric blues and glowing reds is a nod to our heritage while being refreshed with energy and vitality.
The Resmed logotype stands bold in black, complementing and anchoring the new dynamic logo while also introducing an intentional lowercase “m” that further reinforces our position as an approachable, forward-thinking, consumer health-tech brand.

Because our brand is expansive, we’ve established multiple color formats for our logo that elevate our refreshed palette and offer a variety of production methods and applications for different scenarios. Use the guidelines on this page to determine which format best suits your deliverable.

Clear space and minimum size
The clear space around our logos is an area that should be free from other elements like typography, images, graphic elements, patterns, the edge of the surface on which it’s placed, or anything that would interfere with the legibility and visibility of our logo. When applications allow, we encourage designers to give our logo even more space to shine.
Minimum size specifications are provided to ensure the logo is reproduced effectively at small sizes across print and digital applications. Whenever possible, larger sizes should be used for our logo.
Clear space
To define our logo's clear space, measure the height of the "R" in Resmed and establish a perimeter around the logo that is equal to that height.
Minimum size
We have established the minimum size at which our logo can be reproduced effectively for digital and print applications. Whenever possible, use larger sizes.
- Height on screen: 12px
- Height in print: 12pt
Staging
On most applications, place our logo in any corner of an application inside margins that honor our clear space guidelines.
On specialty applications like posters, ads, or packaging, you can center the logo. Visual examples of logo staging can be found in the gallery portion of this document.
Misuses
Avoid these potential mistakes when applying our logo in layout.
Don’t distort our logo by scaling it disproportionately.
Don’t apply special effects such as drop shadows to our logo.
Don’t place our logo on distracting or low-contrast photo backgrounds.
Don’t crowd our logo by violating its clear space with the edge of an application or other elements.
Don’t use the wordmark without the symbol or vice versa. However, our logo symbol may be used by itself on social and app icons.
Don’t use the logo in place of our name in written statements.
Don't stack the symbol on top of the wordmark, as this can create unnecessary visual noise and potential technical reproduction challenges.
Don’t place our logo on unapproved background colors.
Don’t allow the logo to become buried in the content. Always keep the logo in a prominent position.
